Aotearoa's inaugural Nature & Wellbeing Symposium

In June of this year, with the generous support of the the Ministry for the Environment, KHM Consulting's Dr Catherine Knight was proud to convene and host Aotearoa New Zealand's first ever symposium exploring the interdisciplinary topic of nature and wellbeing. More than a dozen experts from both Aotearoa and beyond spoke at the symposium from topics ranging from regenerative architecture, biophilic cities, 20-minute cities and water-sensitive urban design.

Now, we are pleased to announce that the summary of symposium proceedings is available and can be downloaded below.

In further news, building on the momentum created by the Nature & Wellbeing Symposium, we are establishing a network for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers with an academic or professional interest in how nature affects human wellbeing, and how we can harness this understanding in the design and creation of our built environments, health care, and education systems.

If you would like to find out more, or join the network, contact Catherine via the Contact page.
